We have all heard about the diversity of ‘India’, the term gets used in print and video
travel advertisements very often but is seldom able to convey the real meaning behind it. We didn’t
fully realize the meaning of ‘diversity’ ourselves up until mid 2020 when we got a once in a lifetime
opportunity to film and photograph places of interest in Bihar for Bihar Tourism’s new website.
We divided the state into zones and started in capital Patna with a 15 day filming schedule to cover south-east corner of the state. Less did we know, that one corner of one state of India will reveal treasures so rich and vivid. From ancient Hindu Temples and famous Jain sites within a stones throw from each other to Sikh pilgrimage and Buddhist Temples separated only by a few kilometers. One tiny corner of India unfolded like feathers of a dancing peacock. Hues and colors shifting with light in a magnificent display of art, architecture, folklore and faith
